A people of Arcanis, founders of the Harmonic Accord and the Arkan Collective.
Arcanians are a people of Arcanis, founders of the Harmonic Accord and the civilization behind the Arkan Collective. They share their homeworld with more than one hundred sentient species.
Arcanis orbits a yellow dwarf in the Perseus Arm, near Cassiopeia’s stellar region. Two moons shape its tides, and nearby nebulae color its skies. More than one hundred sentient species share the planet, including Tarruk and Lymari.
Arcanian colonies form the Arkan Collective. The Arcanians also founded the Harmonic Accord, a separate multispecies alliance that shares authority among its members. Oron describes his own role as observing how worlds develop.
Arcanian design favors organic curves, luminous alloys and spatial harmony. Biological and cognitive cycles do not map directly onto human lifespan markers. Oron, Raeya, Kyrion and Vynar are individual Arcanians; Vega’s created resemblance to Raeya belongs to her own identity.

Arcanis Architecture · Design Tradition
Architectural style favoring organic curves, luminous alloys, and spatial harmony; blends function with cultural expression. Common in Arcanian stations and ships.
Looks peaceful, hides enough weapon ports to make a Theron Admiral twitch.
Arcanian Longevity Cycles · Biological Trait — Temporal Scale
Term used to describe the lifespan measurement framework of Arcanian species, based on internally defined biological and cognitive phases rather than short generational markers. The reference establishes a strategic and perceptual timescale fundamentally misaligned with human developmental expectations.
When you live long enough, patience stops being a virtue and becomes a default setting.
